Darren specialises in commercial, corporate and regulatory litigation and international arbitration. Before founding FitzGerald Lawyers he was Head of Asia Dispute Resolution at Bird & Bird and partner at Salans LLP in Hong Kong.
Darren is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University where he teaches international arbitration to postgraduate students. He serves on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales and as member of the Rules Committee of the Australian Commercial International Commercial Arbitration Centre.
Darren is admitted to practice in Australia, England & Wales and Hong Kong.
He holds first class honours degrees in Arts and Laws from the Australian National University and a Masters of Laws from Cambridge where he was a Chevening Scholar.
