Michael focuses on cross-border mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and fundraising transactions which often involve complicated technical and multi-jurisdictional issues. He has an in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, representing global financial institutions and working with government regulators. Clients that Michael has represented include private equity, venture capital, sovereign wealth funds, governments, blue-chip listed companies, family offices and high net worth individuals.
Prior to joining FitzGerald Lawyers Michael was Special Counsel at Duane Morris & Selvam LLP in Singapore. He has worked at other leading international firms in Australia and Dubai.
Michael is admitted in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Law (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
